PURPOSE: To obtain a lightweight cylindrical substrate ensuring satisfactory productivity, excellent in chemical and heat resistances, having satisfactory dimensional precision even in the case of a thin long-sized substrate and having uniform surface roughness and to obtain an electrophotographic org. photoreceptor having stable surface quality and satisfactory adhesion of the org. photosensitive layer to the cylindrical substrate. CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive layer of an org. material is formed by coating a cylindrical substrate 1 produced by injection-molding with a material having <=10<4>Ω.cm volume resistivity prepd. by blending polyphthalamide resin as a base with carbon black, to obtain the objective photoreceptor.
