An assembly regulates the flow of fluid in a flexible tube used in medical infusion or blood transfusion. The assembly has an elongated housing (1) with a clamping surface (16) and clamping roller (12) which advances at an angle along a plane towards the clamp surface. The tube running between the clamping roller and clamping surface can be freed by moving the clamp roller. One section (14) of the clamping roller rests upon the tube, while another section (15,15') has a larger diameter which may be rotated by thumb.
