<p>An intraoral viewing device (20) includes a handle (26) having a distal end, and a mirror mount (22), connected to the distal end of the handle, for insertion into a mouth of a patient. An image sensor (46) is contained in the handle and coupled to provide electronic images of the inside of the mouth. A flexible sheath (60) fits over and covers the mirror mount and the handle. A mirror (30) is configured to be fastened to the mirror mount over the sheath, with the sheath intervening between the mirror and the mirror mount, so as to provide optical images of the inside of the mouth.</p> |
