STORING AND REPRODUCING METHOD FOR PLURAL VIDEOS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously store and reproduce video under storing and reproducing even when the number of videos to be composited into one image is varied by adding an audio identifier related with each image of a composite image to encoded audio, thereby storing it in a storage means. SOLUTION: The video signals of plural video sources 1 generated by a television camera, etc., are composited into one picture image by an image compositing part 2 and the composite video composited into one picture image is encoded by a video encoding part 3. In the means time, each audio signal of the plural video sources 1 is encoded by each of the audio encoding part 4. The respectively encoded video and audio are synchronized and multiplexed by a multimedia multiplexing part 5. Coding information prepared like this is stored in a video storing part 6. In this case, the encoded audio is added with a voice identifier related with each picture image of the composite image composited into one and stored in the part 6.
