PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and properly supervise a desired point. SOLUTION: In the remote camera supervisory method of the camera supervisory system that is provided with a remote camera 10 able to be turned through remote control and with a camera controller 20 that displays video information obtained by remotely controlling the camera onto a monitor screen, all video information sets as to a prescribed supervisory area obtained by remotely controlling the camera 10 in advance are composited on one plane and the supervisory composited image is displayed on a monitor screen W2, and video information at a designated position obtained by applying turning control to the camera 10 in a direction of the designated position according to the position designation information entered externally with respect to the supervisory composited image on the monitor screen is displayed on a monitor screen W3.
