FIELD: treatment of water with silver irons; applicable in disinfection and preservation of drinking water on water, and air and land transport, objects of their servicing and also in swimming pools, in production of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, etc. SUBSTANCE: plant has electrolyzer with silver electrodes, DC source supplying electrolyzer, and electrode polarity switch, transducer of volumetric flow rate of water connected with DC source with stabilized output, system of pipelines for supply and discharge of water, compensator for effect of treated water parameters on process of electrolysis including system of transducers and switch gear for switching on, off and switch-over of electric circuit components. The compensator is functionally connected with audio and light signals. EFFECT: excluded effect of pH of treated water, its temperature, salt composition and degree of dissolving of silver electrodes on process of electrolysis. 2 cl, 1 dwg
