PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve fairness among users who are respondents when performing a game relating to a musical piece played at a Karaoke performance terminal. SOLUTION: The Karaoke system includes a user ID acquisition means 34 for acquiring a user ID, a user-by-user performance frequency management means for attaching a string to the performance frequency of the musical piece played during each logout every time each user carries out system login to the user ID of each user currently logging-in the system, managing the same, and an opponent selection means 51 which acquires the performance frequency of the musical piece managed by the user-by-user performance frequency management means on condition that the prescribed condition expression is satisfied in accordance with the standard of a preset match-up pattern at the Karaoke performance terminal for executing the game relating to the performance musical piece, extracts the user within a prescribed range of the relative frequency between the users in the performance frequency of the musical piece relating to the musical piece acquired with the performance frequency commonly for a plurality of the users, and selects such a user as the opponent.
