<p>PURPOSE:To provide the golf ball which has a good (soft) hitting feel and excellent durability and is suitable for use in a training range. CONSTITUTION:The golf ball having a two-layered structure consisting of a core and a cover coating this core is formed to have 2.8 to 3.8mm compression strain of the core. The hardness distribution of the core measured by a JIS-C type hardness meter is specified to be 65 to 79 at the center, 70 to 80 apart 5mm from the center toward the surface, 73 to 80 apart 10mm, 75 to 82 apart 15mm and 70 to 85 at the surface. In addition, the differences in the hardness between the adjacent measurement points are specified within 5. The golf ball is composed by using an ionomer resin as the chief material of the cover, coating the core by using the ionomer resin having 1400 to 3000kg/cm<2> bending rigidity and specifying the ball compression to be 70 to 100 (PGA system).</p> |
