<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect monitor data on a network at real time and a low cost in a parallel computer connecting plural nodes through a switch type network. SOLUTION: In the parallel computer connecting plural nodes 11 to 14 through multi-stage crossbar switches 15 to 18, each crossbar switch is provided with monitor circuits 112, 113 for collecting monitor data in each input port, header decoding circuits 107, 108 for respectively issuing a monitor data selection signal upon receiving a container packet for collecting monitor data and selection circuits 114, 115 for respectively switching their connection from input buffers 105, 106 to hardware monitoring circuits 112, 113 and constituted so as to transfer a container packet storing monitor data in each crossbar switch on a route.</p> |
