<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling type crane excellent in turning stability when traveling. SOLUTION: This traveling type crane 1 is provided with a crane mechanism 4 mounted on a car body 2, and this crane mechanism 4 is provided with a boom case 7, and a multi-stage boom 8 slidably installed inside it. The multi- stage boom 8 is fixed to a boom case 7 by a fixing pin 16, and by removing the fixed pin 16 and extending a retraction cylinder 15, the multi-stage boom 8 is retracted toward the back side of the car body 2 to the boom case 7. As a result, the position of the gravity center of the car body 2 gets closer to the center of the car body 2, and overhang quantity of the multi-stage boom 8 from the car body 2 forward is reduced, thereby turning stability at the time of traveling is improved.</p> |
