PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt spraying device for metal using a levitation furnace of small capacity capable of improving productive efficiency and energy efficiency and stably spraying molten metal. SOLUTION: The melt spraying device is equipped with: a levitation furnace 11; a tapping nozzle 21 connected to the lower part of the levitation furnace, an injection nozzle 31 provided so as to front the tapping nozzle; a supporting mechanism 41 supporting the base material of metal in rising and lowering manner; and an induction heating means 51 preliminarily heating or melting the lower end part of the base material supported by the supporting mechanism. The base material supported by the supporting mechanism is lowered; the lower end part thereof is preliminarily heated or melted by the induction heating means, and is charged inside the levitation furnace; on the other hand, the molten metal is made to flow down from the levitation furnace via the tapping nozzle; and a fluid is injected to the molten metal under the flowing-down, and the molten metal is sprayed.
