PURPOSE:To make a user easily grasp the present position by displaying the data of a mark of a specific institution which is located in the vicinity of the present position but not included in the present map data at a position related to the present map data. CONSTITUTION:The mark data is selected or input through an input part 5. A GPS receiving part 11 receives the positional data via a satellite antenna 2, calculates the data of the present position of a moving body and outputs to a microcomputer 1. Subsequently, a CD-ROM drive 3 reads out the man data from a CD-ROM disc C1 based on the command of the microcomputer 1, while an IC card reader/writer 4 reads out the mark data from an IC card C2. The microcomputer 1 calculates the direction and distance between the present position and each mark institution based on each of the read-out data, forms the image data to synthesize the present position data, present map area, direction and distance of each mark institution on the same screen, and outputs to a CRT device 6. Consequently, the image is displayed. |
