PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric barrier discharge lamp device capable of surely preventing the cooling fluid for cooling a dielectric barrier discharge lamp from leaking and surely cooling the dielectric barrier discharge lamp. SOLUTION: This dielectric barrier discharge lamp device has a dielectric barrier discharge lamp 1 having a discharge space P formed by coaxially disposing the outside tube 3 and an inside tube 2, both have an approximately cylindrical external form, wherein a cooling fluid flows in a space formed by the inside tube 2 in the dielectric barrier discharge lamp 1. In the device, the inside tube 2 extends outside a discharge space 4 and has a cylindrical elongated tube part 2A. The outer surface of an end part 2A1 of the elongated tube part 2A is tightly held by a joint mechanism 8 coupled to a conduit 11 wherein the cooling fluid flows.
