PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and program for searching a data processing route for searching a device capable of performing processing of desired data and deciding a route for transmitting this data among devices connected on to the network. SOLUTION: The data processing route searching device 15 is provided with a searching means 15a for judging whether data consisting of at least one of video data, voice data or text data can be processed in the devices connected on to the network, and an output means 15d for outputting the result of search.
