The invention relates to a method of disposing of waste. The method includes conveying two bins (210), at least one of which contains waste, on a load bed (90) of a vehicle (70) in a stacked manner, so that the bins are arranged one on top of the other, there thus being a lower bin (210.1) and an upper bin (210.2), with a centre of the upper bin being positioned between a centre of the lower bin and a cab of the vehicle. The two bins can be simultaneously, or separately, loaded on to or, offloaded from the load bed of the vehicle, and can be simultaneously tipped to discharge waste contained therein. The invention relates also to a waste disposal bin which includes locking formations for locking it to a similar bin on which it is supported. The invention extends to a waste disposal vehicle (70), and to a waste disposal system including, in combination, the waste disposal vehicle and two waste disposal bins. |
