The windscreen wipers parked position switch has a switch disc (1) on a drive part of the motor and friction contact springs (9,10,11) on the disc. A first contact (9) cooperates with a rib (7) on the disc (1). In the parked position, the first contact (9) lies in a gap in the disc (1). A second contact (10) constantly cooperates with the disc (1) and the third occasionally cooperates with it. One edge (6) of the disc gap (2) is formed as a rib (7) extending in the circumferential direction of the disc (1) and projecting from the plane of the disc perpendicular to the direction of the first contact arm (9). The latter lies along the edge (8,8') of the rib (7). After leaving the rib (7) and reaching the edge (6) of the gap (2) the contact arm (9) drops into the gap (2). To reduce lack of precision due to wear of the contacts (13) and the disc (1), the contacts (13) are made of harder material than the disc (1). ADVANTAGE - Reduces danger of contacts fusing into plastic of drive wheel. A simple and efficient device with increased functional capabilities.
