The arrangement, in which the measuring electrode is applied as a thin electrically conductive layer on the side, facing the electrolyte, of a diffusion diaphragm that is impervious to the electrolyte, and is connected to an electrically conductive contact element, is to be improved in such a way that the surface of the electrode layer that is exposed to the electrolyte is defined by the electrode arrangement itself, the contact surface between the electrode layer and contact element is integrated over a large area into the electrode arrangement, and the electrode arrangement has a form that is stable for manipulation. For this purpose, it is provided that the electrode layer (4) is connected in a manner impervious to electrolyte and gas to a cover (5), which has a recess (51) and by means of which the contact element (6) is pressed two-dimensionally onto the electrode layer (4). <IMAGE> |
