PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an airbag device which can adjust the magnitude of gas pressure in a bag body according to an installation state of restraining means to a body of an occupant.SOLUTION: A bent hole 58 is formed on a first layer 54 of a bag body 52 of an air belt device 50. On the opposite side to a second layer 56 on the first layer 54 of the bag body 52, a webbing 42 is provided, and if the webbing 42 is press-contacted with the first layer 54 of the bag body 52 by tensile force, the vent hole 58 is blocked by the webbing 42. If the webbing 42 is slackened, the webbing 42 cannot be press-contacted with the first layer 54 of the bag body 52, and is separated from the first layer 52 due to the pressure of gas intending to pass through the vent hole 58 on the first layer 52, thereby opening the vent hole 58.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
