Provided is a rolling bearing which allows a reduction in rotational torque to be achieved by controlling excess grease on a rolling element using a simple means. The rolling bearing (1) is equipped with: an inner ring (2) and an outer ring (3) serving as orbital rings; a plurality of rolling elements (4) interposed between the inner and outer rings (2, 3); a cage (5) that holds the rolling elements (4); and grease (13) sealed in the space within the bearing. The cage (5) has pockets (9) and groove portions (11) on an annular cage body (7), the pockets (9) opening towards one side in the axial direction and holding the rolling elements (4), and the groove portions (11) being each formed between adjacent pockets (9) on the open side of the pockets (9). The cage (5) is formed by securing a grease holding body (6) formed from a textile material or a porous material to at least a portion of the groove portions (11). |
