PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of mold cavities and defective air tightness by welding a barrel part of an aluminum casting and a flange part made of aluminum rolled material. SOLUTION: A cross-shaped barrel part 1 is made of an aluminum casting, and a flange part 2 is made of aluminum rolled material. The barrel part 1 and the flange part 2 are welded to constitute a hermetic container for gas- insulated switchgears. Incidentally, the barrel part 1 is not restricted to a cross- shaped one. Since the flange part 2 having surfaces which are required to be hermetic is made of the aluminum rolled material, and the barrel part 1 is made of the aluminum casting in this way, defective air tightness caused by mold cavities is not generated, and it becomes possible to perform manufacture at a low cost with an excellent yield rate without producing any defective product. |
