PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source circuit with which the withstand voltage of an electric double layer capacitor is increased and a large charging/ discharging current is provided only by adding a simple electric circuit without increasing the number of capacitors. SOLUTION: Concerning the power source circuit using the electric double layer capacitor provided with an electric double layer capacitor 10, a chargeable battery 58 and a switching means for separately charging the electric double layer capacitor 10 and the battery 58 and discharging the electric double layer capacitor 10 and battery 58 while serially connecting them, the main part for charging/discharging is the electric double layer capacitor 10 a large charging/ discharging current can be provided, the battery 58 performs a role of voltage support and just about 1/100 ability thereof is used so that the service life can be prolonged. |
