PURPOSE:To offer a wave guide at excellent wave guiding efficiency by supplying a melted metal to a mold at a solidifying temperature or more, forming a solidified surface in a transverse direction, discharging the metal to a pipe shape, drawing the pipe body at prescribed speed while rapidly cooling it, and fixing flange parts at both ends. CONSTITUTION:A melted metal (molten metal) 9 is supplied into a heated mold 6. A core 5 and a die body 4 of the heated mold 6 are maintained at the temperature higher than the melting temperature of the molten metal 9. The speed of a drawing device 10 is continuously controlled, the solidified surface is formed in the transverse direction, and the metal is discharged from the part between the core 5 and the die body 4 so as to be the pipe shape. Cooled water is sprayed from a cooled nozzle 11, the pipe body is rapidly cooled, and drawn at the prescribed speed. Thus the flange parts are fixed at the both edges of the drawn pipe. Thus a material at a small electric resistance can be used, and the material can be formed to the arbitrary shape. |
