PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for displaying possibility of telephone call are disclosed which enable the user of radio portable telephone to determine precisely the possibility of telephone call. CONSTITUTION: A controller(100) scans whether information concerning radio wave level of receiving signal is provided from a receiving signal radio level measurement unit(110). If so, the controller displays radio wave level indication bar corresponding to the received signal radio wave level. Further, the controller scans whether information relating to interference level of receiving signal is supplied from a receiving signal interference measurement unit(114). If so, the controller displays interference level indication bar corresponding to the received signal interference level. Since the possibility of telephone call in radio portable telephone is displayed as receiving signal radio wave level and receiving signal interference level at a time, the user of radio portable telephone can precisely determine the possibility of call. |
