GENERATION DEVICE AND GENERATION METHOD OF FLOODLIGHT PATTERN FOR EXECUTING STEREO CORRESPONDENCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a more suitable pattern as a floodlight pattern to a measuring object for executing stereo correspondence in a stereo method.

SOLUTION: This pattern generation device 22 is equipped with a sequence generation part 22a for generating a sequence wherein a numerical value of an M-value (M is an integer of two or more) is used as a term, and an image data generation part 22b for generating image data by converting each numerical value in the sequence generated by the sequence generation part 22a into a gradation value corresponding to each numerical value. The sequence generation part 22a generates the sequence so that vectors expressed by each partial sequence are vectors having mutually different directions, relative to partial sequences having each prescribed length constituting the generated sequence.
