PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical gas concn. measuring apparatus capable of checking the operation state of an electrochemical gas sensor and the connection state of a sensor and a measuring apparatus main body within as real a time as possible without bringing about trouble in measuring operation to ensure reliability. SOLUTION: In a gas absent state, a check control means 28 periodically checks the presence of the connection of a sensor 10 or the function of the sensor 10 or a measuring circuit at first and second cycles. When the output from the sensor 10 exceeds a reference value, measuring operation is continued without starting check operation to continue the measurement of gas concn. |
