The arrangement has a form part (2) to form a storage space, which is inserted in an upper side (4) of the dashboard facing the windscreen. The form part has a wall (8) forming an upper side and side wall sections (10-16) and is open to the upper side of the dashboard. The side wall sections of the form part at least partly engage a recess (28) in the upper side of the dashboard and positively fit it in the horizontal plane with no clearance.
