PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the production of a heat fixing roller covering a resin tube even if the arbor and rubber of the heat fixing roller are respectively thin (<=1 mm) and the thickness of the resin tube is <=0.1 mm by facilitating the injection of material, preventing the generation of wrinkles of the tube, making the film thickness uniform and preventing the rupture of the tube. SOLUTION: This roller 1 is a heat fixing roller, such as a heating roller or pressurizing roller, and is formed by coaxially installing the tube 2 made of the fluororesin and the arbor 4 within a cylindrical metal mold 6, injecting unvulcanized silicone rubber 3 of an addition polymerization type into the spacing therebetween and curing the material under crosslinking conditions. The spacing between the cylindrical metal mold 6 and the tube 2 made of the fluororesin is thus maintained in a reduced pressure state and the material injecting part is put into the reduced pressure state in the state of fixing the tube 2 made of the fluororesin to the inner side of the metal mold 6 and the material is injected. The material is then cured under the crosslinking conditions, by which the heat fixing roller 1 covering the tube 2 made of the fluororesin is produced. |
