MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a letterpress plate by which projection portions of the letterpress plate can be formed in an optional shape with high precision.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the printing plate 5' having cured negative photosensitive resin comprises the processes of: 1 forming a negative photosensitive layer for forming a resin mold on a substrate; 2 exposing the negative photosensitive resin layer from a photomask side after arranging a photomask on the negative photosensitive resin layer and then performing development after removing the photomask to manufacture a resin model precursor where projection bodies of cured negative photosensitive resin are arranged on the substrate; 3 coating surfaces of the projection bodies of the resin mold precursor with a coloring material having low ultraviolet transmissivity thereby manufacturing the resin mold: 4 disposing a negative photosensitive resin layer for forming the printing plate and a diffuse reflecting plate 6 thereupon on the side where the projection bodies of the resin mold are arranged; and 5 removing the resin mold after performing exposure from the substrate side.
