The present invention relates to an air purifier and a method for controlling an air purifier. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the air purifier includes: a purifying part reducing the degree of air pollution by allowing air to pass through; a wind power generating part converting wind power generated by the passing air into electric power; and an energy storing part storing the converted electric energy, thereby increasing energy efficiency. |
