PURPOSE: To make a suction type wall surface walking device lighter in weight and smaller in size. CONSTITUTION: This suction type wall surface walking device 1 comprises an annular main body frame 2, a plurality of leg mechanisms 10A, 10B,..., 10H hanging from the main body frame 2, and vacuum suction boards 30... mounted on the ends of the leg mechanisms 10A, 10B,..., 10H, the main body frame 2 being constructed of flexible members. Therefore, even in the case of a curved wall surface, the main body frame can be deformed to fit the curved surface, with the result that the vacuum suction boards always face the wall surface from the preferred direction and are in no danger of failing to suck the surface. |
