<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to efficiently produce hydrogen in low temperature gasification advantageous to small-scale gasification device. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing hydrogen comprises a first heat exchanging means 105 using a gas product 104 generated by reacting an organic material 101 with steam 103 in a reaction medium 102 as a high-temperature heat source, a second heat exchanging means 107 using a gas product 106 after heat exchanging in the first heat exchanging means 105 as a high-temperature heat source, and a hydrogen separation means 110 to separate hydrogen from a gas product 109, wherein the gas product 109 which moves to the hydrogen separation means 110 from the second heat exchanging means 107 is used as a low-temperature heat source of the first heat exchanging means 105. Tar and the like are removed by condensation in the second heat exchanging means 107, and the cooled gas product 109 is reheated in the first heat exchanging means 105 and supplied to the hydrogen separation means 110, thereby capable of suppressing the temperature reduction of the hydrogen separation means 110 and efficiently separating hydrogen to produce high concentration hydrogen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
