PURPOSE:To make a torque prior to occurrence of a slip substantially equal to that succeeding to reduction of a slip occurring on a vehicle wheel, easy to restore to a speed change stage prior to occurrence of the slip. CONSTITUTION:In steps 140, 141, and 143, decision is made of that the present gear position is 1st, 4th, of 3rd speed stage. In case of 1 speed stage, in steps 142, 149 and 153, shift-up lines for 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 are sequentially read in by which down-shift is performed correspondingly to the vehicle speed, or the 4-speed stage is maintained. In case of 3 speed stage, shift-up lines for 1-2, and 2-3 are sequentially read-in steps 144 and 160 by which down-shift is performed correspondingly to the vehicle speed, or the 3rd speed stage is maintained. In the case of other speed stage than the 3rd speed stage, in steps 145, 1-2 shift-up line is read in by which shift down to the 1st speed stage stage is performed correspondingly to the vehicle speed, or other speed stage than 1, 4 and 3 speed stages, namely a 2 speed is maintained. |
