An antistatic material prepared by coating a base material with a soluble, conductive polypyrrole prepared by the electrolytic or chemical oxidative polymerization of a pyrrole monomer and doping the coated base material to impart electrical conductivity thereto. It is possible to obtain a uniform, transparent film readily, to impart conductivity to a plastic substrate, and to obtain a composite material excellent in antistatic effect. |
