<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology by which the amount of reflecting light to the normal line direction of the light leaked from the rear face of the light guide member is increased and the luminance in the normal line direction can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: This is a reflecting member 5 which is provided at the rear face of a light guide member 4 that guides and emits the incident light from a light source 7 and, out of the guided light, reflects the light emitted from the rear face of the light guide member 4. The reflecting member 5 has a plurality of inclined sections 5a which continue along the light incident face 4a of the light guide member 4 where the light source 7 is arranged and are placed regularly in the direction crossing at right angles the incident direction 4a, and the inclined sections 5a have an inclined face inclined at an angle of 20-45° upward to the right from the bottom viewed from the cross-section in thickness direction with the apex angle of the inclined face set at 45-70°, and are provided regularly at an interval of 500 μm or less in the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
