<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high ion-conductivity solid electrolyte material endowed with high oxygen-ion conductivity and high intensity, by stabilizing a crystal phase with addition of specific rare-earth oxide to scandia-stabilized zirconia. <P>SOLUTION: With zirconia as a main ingredient, to which 8.5 to 15 mol% scandia, and 0.5 to 2.5 mol% yttria and/or ceria are blended and dissolved, a total blending volume of scandia and yttria and/or ceria is prepared within the range of 9 to 15 mol% to make up the high ion-conductivity solid electrolyte material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
