PARTCLE REMOVING APPARATUS FOR CAMERA MODULE AND METHOD THEREOF

An apparatus of removing particles of a camera module and a removing method thereof are provided to remove the particles in a camera module fabrication process by using a tape attachment unit and a tape detachment unit. A tape attachment unit(100) aligns and attaches a surface protection tape(500) for preventing attachment of particles on a surface of an infrared filter(400). The particles generated from a postprocess are attached to the surface protection tape after a holder attaching process, and first and second thermal processes are performed. A tape detachment unit is located at a top part of the surface protection tape. The tape detachment unit absorbs the surface protection tape by using air pressure and detaches the surface protection tape from the surface of the infrared filter.
