PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input, to encoding processing, image data subjected to image processing as it is, without writing the image data back into memory.SOLUTION: When the line of inputted image data is an overlapping line, data of the overlapping line is stored in shared line buffers 704 and 724. When a line to be processed is an overlapping line, data of the overlapping line is read from a shared line buffer 724 or 704 within a core 101b or 101a adjacent to its own cores 101a or 101b.
