<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic wave type touch panel, capable of preventing coordinate jump by preventing reflection of an unnecessary wave from a reflecting array toward a touch area to accurately detect a position of an object contacting with the touch area. <P>SOLUTION: The acoustic wave type touch panel 1 comprises a substrate 2 with which the object contacts, the reflecting array 6 having a number of inclined lines 8, which is disposed on the substrate 2, acoustic wave generation parts 10c, 10b and 30 disposed on the substrate, and detection parts 10a and 10d for detecting a change in acoustic waves by contact of the object with the substrate 2, which are disposed on the substrate 2. This touch panel further comprises minute reflectors 18 shorter in length than the inclined lines 8 for attenuating unnecessary waves generated incidentally by reflection of acoustic waves by the inclined lines 8, which are aligned between the inclined lines 8 at least at one end side of the inclined lines 8 within the area of the reflecting array 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
