摘要 This fusion gene analysis device is provided with: a lead sequence acquisition unit that acquires lead sequences output from a sequencer; a virtual complementary sequence generation unit that generates complementary sequences with respect to all of the acquired lead sequences and outputs the complementary sequences as virtual complementary sequences; a mapping information acquisition unit that supplies the lead sequences and the virtual complementary sequences to a mapping device and acquires the results of mapping thereof on a reference sequence by the mapping device; a candidate lead sequence extraction unit that extracts, as candidate lead sequences from among the mapping results, sequences in each of which the lead sequence and the corresponding virtual complementary sequence are separately mapped at two positions of the reference sequence, wherein the dividing point in each extracted candidate lead sequence is considered as being a breakpoint candidate; a group formation unit that forms groups of candidate lead sequences each having the breakpoint candidate being located within a predetermined number of bases; and a fusion gene determination information generation unit that generates information for determining whether or not the candidate lead sequences included in each group are attributable to a fusion gene on the basis of the characteristics and number of the candidate lead sequences configuring the groups.
