PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship propulsion device capable of increasing supplied electric energy while suppressing enlargement of a power generator.SOLUTION: This outboard motor 1 (a ship propulsion device) comprises: an engine 11 including a crank shaft 111; a power generator 12 including a rotor 122 rotated in accordance with the rotation of the crank shaft 111, and a stator 121 which is disposed oppositely to the rotor 122 and around which a first coil group 124 and a second coil group 125 having higher output than the first coil group 124 are wound; a rectifier/regulator 14 which rectifies AC power generated in the first coil group 124 and outputs to a first battery 3a; a converter 13 which includes a plurality of switching elements 131 and converts AC power generated in the second coil group 125 into DC power; and a DC/DC transformer 16 which transforms the DC power converted by the converter 13 and outputs to a second battery 3b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
