PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic particles coated with a polymer and capable of improving dispersibility in a solution more than conventional particles.SOLUTION: The magnetic particles coated with a polymer comprises a magnetic particle core and a polymer electrolyte graft-polymerized from a living radical polymerization initiating group chemically bonded with the core surface and having a functional group able to bond with a biomolecule in a part or all of polymerization terminals of the polymer electrolyte.SELECTED DRAWING: None
