PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive opening trim which is light in weight and does not produce flotation on the corner of a body opening periphery, but reduces manufacturing man-hours. SOLUTION: This opening trim 2 is provided with a mounting base 11 and a hollow seal 15 swelling out from the vehicle outside wall and abutting on the periphery of a door. In order to prevent the opening trim 2 from stretching when mounting it, a core wire composed of a wire material such as a glass fiber having low stretchability and easily bendable flexibility is embedded in the mounting base 11. The vehicle inside wall surface 17 of the mounting base 11 is provided with an adhesive layer 18 by which the opening trim 2 is stuck to a body flange. |
