<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail whose upper face overhangs from a mounting wall face when it is attached to the mounting wall face while making common parts for interchangeability so that one kind of handrail end part handling parts can be used for cap handling and joint handling. SOLUTION: This handrail is provided with a handrail main body 6, the handrail end part handling part 7, and an attachment 30. An end face 9a of the handrail main body 6 hangs down more than an upper fringe 9b of the end face, and fitting holes 18, 19 are formed on the end face 9a of the handrail main body 6. Connection faces 21, 22 forming a right angle of the handrail end part handling part 7 hang down from an upper face 20, and fitting holes 26, 27 are formed on each connection face 21, 22. One end part of the attachment 30 is detachably fitted into the fitting holes 26, 27 of the handrail end part handling part 7, and the other end part thereof is fitted into the fitting holes 18, 19 of the handrail main body 6. Consequently, the joint handling for connecting the handrail main body 6 with a pair of connection faces 21, 22 and the cap handling for connecting the handrail main body 6 with the connection face 21 (22) on one side only and bringing the connection face 22 (21) on the other side into contact with a wall face 2 of a corridor can be selectively done.</p> |
