PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device with which it is possible to perform an input operation favorably in a simple configuration without causing the display area of a display unit or the operation area of a touch panel to be narrowed or the size of an apparatus to increase, and an electronic apparatus equipped with the input device.SOLUTION: In a case 110 of an electronic apparatus body 102 are accommodated a protective plate 116 constituting a display unit DSP, a display panel 112 of liquid crystal type, etc., and a touch panel 114 of static capacitance type. The touch panel 114 is provided with its end extended so that a portion of its detection surface comes in contact with the case 110 portion provided in the periphery of the display unit DSP. Inside a member constituting the case 110 is provided one or a plurality of electric conductors ELC at a position where the apparatus body 102, when viewed from top, planarily overlaps with the touch panel 114 provided with its end extended.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
