The present invention provides a device and a method for generating printing information. The method for generating printing information comprises: a step of dividing a basic image obtained based on an input by a user to obtain at least one divided image; a step of determining a target item, which corresponds to the basic image, of a three-dimensional item list stored in a database by using the divided image; a step of providing a graphic user interface (GUI) capable of editing the shape of the target item in accordance with a users input; and a step of editing the shape of the target item based on the users input through the provided GUI and generating printing information to perform three-dimensional printing to the edited target item. According to the present invention, three-dimensional printing information on a three-dimensional shape desired by the user is generated. |
