<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal pillow packaging apparatus and packaging method thereof, wherein even after the packaging apparatus is suspended, a film can be pinched at an appropriate position under a stable condition and can be fed by a pair of seal rollers provided in a center seal mechanism in the horizontal pillow packaging apparatus and its packaging method. <P>SOLUTION: In the horizontal pillow packaging apparatus and its packaging method, when feeding the film F by a delivery mechanism 5 is stopped, after a specified time t0 is passed, a pair of the seal rollers 7A provided in the center seal mechanism 7 are opened and actuated with each other.
