PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly inhibit engine racing.SOLUTION: In a vehicle, an alternator generates power based on output power from an engine 12 and an intake valve 18 supplies intake air to a combustion chamber 16 of an internal combustion engine 12. An engine ECU 50 temporarily increases power generation load of the alternator and temporarily changes an open/close timing of the intake valve 18 so as to suppress an intake air amount when a manual operation for rapidly reducing a torque load of the engine 12 is detected under an idle state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
