PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement assist tool which allows a person to be assisted who requires assist of movement, to easily move into a device.SOLUTION: A movement assist tool comprises: a travel base 3 capable of travelling by wheels 17a, 17b, 19a, 19b; a seat surface support frame 35 disposed on the travel base 3; and a seat surface part 13 having a seat surface where a person to be assisted seats on, and being disposed on the seat surface support frame 35. The travel base 3 comprises a lower side frame 9 for connecting lower parts of a front travel unit 5 comprising the wheels 17a, 17b as front wheels, and a rear travel unit 7 comprising the wheels 19a, 19b as rear wheels and separated from the front travel unit 5. The side frame 9 is provided on one side of the travel base 3 in a device width direction and an opening hole 3a for opening a gap between the front travel unit 5 and the rear travel unit 7 is provided on the other side of the device width direction, movement of the person to be assisted from the opening hole 3a to the gap between the front travel unit 5 and the rear travel unit 7 can be achieved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
