PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop pile holder which has a self-supporting property and flexible elasticity, and achieves the improvement and maintenance of performance for absorbing and taking in various substances. SOLUTION: Loop pile-forming fibers T alternately penetrate the front and back sides of a base fabric S. Many loop piles P having a height smaller in comparison with their diameters are formed on the front side of the base fabric S, and seams H are formed on the back side. Loop pile rows R are tightly provided vertically and horizontally. The loop piles P have a self-supporting property on the surface of the base fabric S.
