PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup element which improves versatility regarding a procedure of accumulation into an accumulation part, and to provide an image pickup element device using the same. SOLUTION: Regarding CCD cells 12 for accumulation most adjacent to a photo-diode 11, each of the CCD cells 12 for accumulation is configured, respectively to connect three photo-diodes 11 in parallel, thereby improving versatility regarding the procedure of accumulation from the photo-diodes 11 connected in parallel to the CCD cells 12 for accumulation (accumulation parts).
